Back at the end of august I passed out or so I thought I passed out, then I moved and started a new job, and while at work one day they said I fell and hit my head and started having a seizure and again the in october I had another seizure and the doctors we baffled to what was going on they did a echogram and a mri and eeg and ekg, all came back normal, each time this happens it is on the last day of my period. and I only am out for maybe 1 minute or less the neurologists says I have epilepsy and she put me on medicine, It is around my period again and I am praying I do not have another seizure, I would like to know if there are any other women out there who have had the same issue or something close to it? also what can I do when I have another one or if I do, because I freak out after each one.

If you check the women with epilepsy you will find lost of posts about your issue. Changes in hormones can affect the seizure threshold.. I had to have changes in my dosages 4-5 times in about a year when I was changing from a kid to a teen. Weight changes from 85 lbs to 135 lbs and dosages were generally set with the persons weight. So yes your time of month can cause seizures at times. If the doctor prescribed medications then it may help.
