Hi there, been a long time lurker

My name is Missy, I have an 8 year old son that was dx'ed with Myoclonic Astatic Epilepsy Jan 19th, 2001 My son has been through 13 different meds and their combinations in the last 5 years, and is currently on his 2nd VNS. I have gotten alot of information here, and will continue to do so. Thank you.

Hey Missyat, Welcome!! Hard to navigate these pages sometimes but it is getting much easier with recent changes. Hope your son is doing well with his new VNS. G

Hi Missy ! Welcome to the site, and I am glad to see you are posting. Both my daughter (now 22), and I have seizures. She was diagnosed at age 9, so I can certainly empathize with you. Hope to see you on here a lot!
