Anyone ever heard of this symptom? New to this site...

Hi everyone, I'm a new user to this site. I was "diagnosed" with epilepsy recently following symptoms of deja vu/feeling of impending doom/uneasiness, nausea, rising sensation in stomach, auditory issues (not hearing people when they speak to me during an episode), confusion, arm and leg tremors, and numbness on left side of body. Symptoms generally last 2-5 min followed by extreme exhaustion. No results on EEG, CT Scan, or MRI. Neurologist diagnosed me with epilepsy with "no known cause." I've been having a recent symptom and am unsure as to whether it's epilepsy related. Sometimes when I'm walking around after having sat down for awhile (in class, at movies, wherever) I will have the feeling that I'm still sitting. Like I feel apart from my body? Not sure if that makes sense... have any of you guys experienced something like that? Thanks! -Kaite

Sounds like you had an "aura"

Sounds like you had an "aura" that's that deja-vu feeling you had which precedes a grand-mil seizure typically letting you know a seizure is coming. After a grand-mil I feel like I ran 5 miles on a treadmill and the treadmill's on 10 I'm exhausted, like I tell everyone it's not the end of the world it's just Epilepsy stay upbeat you'll find that alot of people have seizure disorder's and just move on it's just what you make of it.

Thanks for the response!

I often have "out of body" feelings... usually after a cluster of seizure episodes. You're not alone.
