TLE and fertility

My husband was recently diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. He thinks he has been having seizures or, "episodes" for as long as 5 years, but couldn't figure out what they were until he mentioned it to a neurologist recently, when meeting to discuss his migraines. He is taking Keppra and that works well for him; he has few, if any, seizures while on that. We were able to have a child about 2 years ago.....and are hoping to have another. I have been told that Keppra isn't known for side effects related to infertility, but I'm wondering if Epilepsy, itself, is linked to infertility in men. My husband still has interest in sex, so that is not an issue, but should I be having him go get tested to make sure he's okay?

Keppra actually does affect sperm: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5416869/I've read that the effects can be mitigated, but you'll want to talk a doctor and probably have him tested.
