Hi, my name is Roger and i have had two seizures in my life i am a 29 year old male and somewhat healthy. I try to run and exercise on a regular basis. I had my first seizue on January 2, 2011 after a night of drinking. The doctors deemed it as alcohol withdrawl. I was not able to drive for six months (Michigan rules) and was able to perform this ok. I started driving again and did not have any problems.

On Monday September 19, 2011 i had a seizure while sleeping. My wife called 911 and i was rushed to the hospital and they said i have epilepsy. I am very scared about what can happen now. The doctor has prescibed me with Keppra and i seem to be doing ok. The scary thing is that i guess this can happen any time.

I just want to know how everyone else is delaing with this and coping in their day to day lives.

I still work as a General Manger to a company but I am not allowed to drive  anywhere so my wife has to take me to and from work.

Thank you and i look forward to the comments.
