Vagus Nerve Stimulation

I am trying to find out information on side effects in children. My daughter is 9 years old, d we are considering this operation. Anyone that can help? She has absence seizures.

Thanks so much for the sites. I had already been to them. The info Im trying to get is: side effects and the bad side to VNS, there is nothing there in those sites about these things. any suggestions?
