As a child I was afraid and almost in a panic when the seizures came on.  They happened so suddenly and came on so strong.  As the years went on I tried to relax.  I didn't like how others reacted when I had seizures.  Today others are afraid when I have seizures.  I can't be afraid of epilepsy; it's going to be with me always.
