Seizures while sleeping

Hello I'm syd I'm 23 years old not long ago I fell asleep at my mates and he tried waking me up when I started waving my arms everywhere I thought nothing of it laughed it off but a few days ago my mum told me she had come into my room to grab some washing when I had started shaking constantly in bed she said it looked like I was having a fit can anyone help me I haven't been to the doctors yet because I don't know if I need to?

Of course you need to go to the doctor. That sounds like nocturnal epilepsy.
