Growing out of epilepsy

Mon, 05/21/2018 - 06:34
Hello, I am currently living in the UK, I had my first seizure in January this year (It occurred during the night, from what my parents were describing I laid all stiff on my side with my eyes open. I was starring in one point and my eyes were open, my jaw was clenched however I did not bite my tongue and I was making groaning noises. The attack lasted 5 minutes or so.) I consumed vast amounts of alcohol the evening before. My blood was also very thick to the point where the paramedics could not take a blood sample. My second seizure occurred during March (Also after alcohol) and then in April and now May (The last two occurred without alcohol consumption). I had a CT done which was fine, my blood tests were fine too. I am waiting to get my EEG and MRI results this Wednesday. Apart from the seizures I also woke up twice and felt cold and hungry, I was also shaking. My questions are does this sound like epilepsy? Can I grow out of this type of epilepsy? How likely is it that my condition will become worse with time? And is the fact that I have been taking Tetracycline antibiotic for two years be the cause of this issue (I stopped taking this drug recently)? Thank you for all responses
