why is this happening w/ my Seizures
Tue, 03/22/2005 - 07:12I understand that I have intractable seizures and alot of meds do not do much. But why? When I was on Tegregtol and dilatin I had side affects but only a few bad seizures complex seizures a month right around my ovulation. Now for the last 9 months I take trileptol and keppra and in the last two months I am having many more seizures, In febuary I had at 12 simple seizures and now March I've had 6 so far. I am in perimenupause and I know this throws things off, but everything feels like I have to put on hold because of this.I feel very fusturated, I know my Epileptomologist is doing all she can but it still is fusturating. I have a VNS and I may be too sensitive to use it at a hgh level as I have a very sensitive body and trying to see what other options I may have if any .FOr any women who have intractable womendoes it seem to get better after perimenapause passes?Others who know of people with similiar stories I am open to hear what has helped if at all.Thanks for listening!!
