I went through the same thing.

You may want to go to the university's student health department, and ask them for a group insurance form through the university for students.

I had that for a while, and the monthly premium was about 35$ a month.  My mom paid it, because I couldn't.

The deductibles were--they paid 80%, and we paid 20%, and then sent in the RX reciept and got reimbersed 100%.

Then I got on medicaid for my state that I last lived in.  You can get on it real easy.  There is a paper that your doc fills out that states you are medication-dependant, and can not afford to pay for it, or go off it.

I had to go through all the paperwork, but was approved the first time I tried.

After that, most of my medical care was covered.  There were a few things they wouldn't do, but all the doc visits and meds were paid for completely.  I was taking high amounts of Tegretol XR at that time.

I am still on state insurance in AZ.  They pay for EVERYTHING medical.  They leave nothing out.

I also collect SSI, but you may need to go with one of these others while you wait, so you have some sort of coverage.

PLaying around with epilepsy and the AEDs is the same thing as playing with fire.

I have a four year okd that was waking up in the middle of the night  and at first we thought she was sleep talking, she would sit up in bed and stare into space and talk about really weird things and yes she did wet the bed to and her right eye would twitch.  She then started to do it in the day time to and she would get really disoriented and not remember anything that happened during that time period.  She was diagnosed with complex seizures, or focal seizures.  They ended up taking the whole right frontal lobe of her brain out about 1 week ago.  She was having a lot of headaches but because she was 4 all she could do is whine and cry.  I would defenitly talk to your Dr. and let them know.  My daughter was having them about every 5 min.
