Does anyone else feel like this during a seizure

I was diagnosed with epilepsy around 2 years ago. I take keppra 1,250mg twice a day but i still have seizures when i get infections, feel stressed or haven't had much sleep. Ive never had the chance to talk to someone else with epilepsy so im not sure if other people experience this and if its normal. I had a seizure at work 2 months ago, i had a spaced out feeling like i wasn't really there or like i was in a dream. I felt the urge to be sick but nothing actually came out. Then i felt really dizzy so i was holding on to things around me and i remeber my manager asking if i was ok but her voice felt really echoing and i couldn't respond and the next thing i know i woke up with paramedics around me. Its like i can hear people whilst im feeling dizzy but their voices sounds weird. Is this normal and does anyone else experience this?

welcomeeach persons body has their own therapeutic levels for things. Medications therapeutic levels are to work to control your seizures. When you at sick your bodies therapeutic levels start working to combat your illness which lowers the level which was helping your medications levels. Meaning at those times you can have seizures or they will show up more around those times. If you researched the learn section they have a section with triggers on it. Stress and lack of sleep are 2 of the ones people need to watch out for. There are triggers not listed that your neurologist would know. But then too many people are not affected by most of the triggers. All of the things you posed are parts of seizures or could be the individual seizure themselves. When you talk to your neurologist tell them this and they may want to adjust your dosage some. I have called about mine before and the change in dose was done in that call.I hope this helps and you get the seizures under controlJoe
