Thu, 11/04/2004 - 04:59Has anyone had to put their career on hold because of their Epilepsy? If so, how do you cope with Social Security telling you that you aren't "disabled enough"? I can't drive anymore or go places alone because I'm still having several seizures each week, how is it that I can be expected to get out each day and work 8-12 hours like I did prior to my diagnosis? At the same time, how can I be expected to wait up to a year for a Social Security appeal??
