Bruised Rib

Mon, 11/22/2004 - 11:47

Has anyone ever experienced an injury in their sleep, but not remembering anything happening?  A few days ago, I woke up in the morning and attempted to sit up only to have a stabbing pain in my side.  The pain kept up so I went to the doctor and he told me I have a bruised rib, but I don't know what happened.  I do not have a bruise on the skin and I don't remember doing anything the night/day before the pain started.  I have had in the past what I believe are called simple partial seizures (arm an leg jerking then incontinence), but I woke after to find the wet bed.  There was no incontinence this time and I don't remember anything.  Although, I was very tired.  Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you.
