UK Epilepsy Fundraising- Lets Fight Epilepsy

Fri, 06/13/2014 - 07:05

Hello all,

I am just posting to raise some awareness of the Facebook page that I created "Lets Fight Epilepsy".

A little behind why I set this up. A good friend of mine recently died because of epilepsy, and my partner also has epilepsy. I beleive that there is not enough been done for epilepsy sufferers, and I want to raise money and promote awareness.

All fundraising will be done mainly through sites such as just giving and the like to protect the integrety of money donated and to alleiviate fears of where the money will be going. I am also a Amazon affilliate, and 50% of money made through that will also be donated to epilepsy charities.

The Facebook address is www.facebook.com/letsfightepilepsy

The main bulk of fundraising will be done doing highly exciting this or endurance events.  I have a 5 strong team that will be doing the Sandwell 6 Towns 26 mile walk on August 24th 2014. I also have arranged a rap jump of a building for Birmingham Childrens Hospital, and I have already spoken to them and they have said that there is epilepsy fund that the money I have raised will be going to. Next year I have plans to do the Three Peaks National Challenge.

Thankyou for reading this.
