Shake Challenge

Wed, 10/22/2014 - 12:49

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if those of us that have Facebook have seen a video called the "Shake Challenge." It's basically the Ice Bucket Challenge but taken further; you have to shake and convulse while you do it. It's to raise awareness for Epilepsy.

I appeciate the effort, but I feel like "shaking" is kind of poking fun at seizures and seizure disorders. I've seen people make fun of seizures in that way and it always hurt (especially because you never know who may be around and who may be affected). I was curious as to what everyone else's thoughts are on this.
