14 year old sister new seizure type causing no recollection of who we are

Sat, 07/25/2015 - 22:59

Hoping to get information on new seizure type my sister is having. My sister started out at 5 as a generalized epileptic having day dream like seizures over the years she has progressed to focal and grand mals last week she was having focal seizure in the car in our driveway I was holding her head keeping it from slamming against seat and head rest when she came out she looked like a little girl in a horror movie not knowing who I or my mom was showing her pictures and her still being scared and not knowing she ended up getting out of the car and trying to run into the woods in fear of us and she is having this now everytime she comes out lasting from anywhere from 10 to 35 minutes cornering herself trying to climb up the walls or out windows to get away having to put her in a grape vine hold to restrain her from climbing out windows she eventually slowly calms down but knows who know one is and can't talk at all she eventually knows who we are and then takes her about 10 minutes after that to be able to speak she tries but no words come out. Does anyone else know someone like this or deal with this very same problem the look on her face when she sees me or my parents or anyone close to her when she comes out is pure terror comments would greatly be appreciated
