why?? is it just me?
Tue, 05/24/2005 - 00:39I don't know why people hardly respond to valid questions and concerns, yet ridiculous statements seem to attract attention from everyone. I always try to answer those who are in need of answers or support, and I don't think that any of us should be pushing our own agendas (illicit drugs, vitamins, or whatever). Maybe it's just me feeling weird. Or, maybe this isn't the great group I thought you all were. But, I'm feeling a little discouraged. Discouraged, because maybe you don't really care. Discouraged, because maybe it's pointless to even post my questions or concerns.
Can't we try to ignore those idiotic posts, and get back to supporting one another? We all could use an occasional shoulder to cry on! If this isn't the place for me, let me know, and I'll stop coming.

Personally, IÂ’d like to ask you myself, do you have any suggestions for me, which can be helpful with my postings and replies?

As a new member to this group I can say I understand what you are saying.I have been reading post for a while now and all I want is information and feel desperate when posting for someone to reply.Not that you are deperate for replys but I think any one NEW<NEW, is desperate,is that the word for it? Any way I have read your post and need to for my own sanity.but have had many laughs from the nonsense post also,neede that too.I hope I am coming across right,the information is my hearts search but the chats are my sanity.Soes that sound kind to you ? because it is meant to be.Please dont go away,what would I do if I could find mothers on here to read there post and cry for and pray for

As a new member to this group I can say I understand what you are saying.I have been reading post for a while now and all I want is information and feel desperate when posting for someone to reply.Not that you are deperate for replys but I think any one NEW<NEW, is desperate,is that the word for it? Any way I have read your post and need to for my own sanity.but have had many laughs from the nonsense post also,neede that too.I hope I am coming across right,the information is my hearts search but the chats are my sanity.Soes that sound kind to you ? because it is meant to be.Please dont go away,what would I do if I could find mothers on here to read there post and cry for and pray for

I have only been on this site since January this year. It is now my favorite support group site [gave up on the efa.org site]. But with my HP brand computer having problems, not being a fast typist, slowly creating replies where I can understand what IÂ’ll be saying myself and needing to take some time off myself to do chores, etc, OFF of the computerÂ…I usually get just a few replies posted per day [mostly weekdays].
Please donÂ’t leave us Heather. Everyone on here needs each other, to share experiences and stories about epilepsy, learn together, and welcome new kids [people] on the block. The reason why I keep posting information and up-dates for my own situation about seizures, is because IÂ’ve gone as far as I can with antiepilepsy drugs/medications, cannot do surgery, wonÂ’t do the VNS. I searched the net and found information, started with what I found, which is now working to control my simple partial seizures. With these results, IÂ’m passing it on for other people to look into. ItÂ’s very simple, easy to understand and easy to doÂ…plus itÂ’s very reasonable to pay for.
Again Heather, please stick with us.
