Update on my ‘abdominal epilepsy'

Mon, 01/31/2005 - 16:57

I want EVERYONE who reads this to go to this website, because Epilepsy is NOT the one and only condition where a person's medical/health problems are affected because of their diet. www.edgarcayce.org/health/overview_treatmentplan.html

For the past 10 or so years, I would always have at least 1 aura/sps, but most often they were in a group of several right in a row, somewhere from 1 to 10 minutes all together. But for just two weeks now I've made some adjustments with the foods I eat, and of the foods, what not to eat together at the same time, along the recommended steps with the epilepsy treatment plan. And I have not had, or at least surely haven't noticed that I've had, a single solitary aura/simple partial seizure. During my next appointments, all of which are through the veterans administration [VA], one for a primary physician and the next for my epi, I plan to tell them about this treatment plan to see if the other required medical doctors are available to perform the procedures. If not, then I will do what ever is necessary to visit the Health and Rejuvenation Research Center [H.R.C] myself. I have gone through all the current possibly known neurological tests and operations to control my seizures and won't be able to do anything more than just continue taking medications. So now that I know about the Edgar Cayce treatment plan and already seeing a positive change because of it, I'm going to continue with it one way or another.

At first, I also believed that there must be a link inmany people between the digestive tract and seizures, but now know that there is. If people with seizures can have there seizures triggered by many things [flashing light or moving items on a display screen, audio, smelling of things, or hot water on their head], well then there's bound to be something on the same lines with diet and digestion. When everyone takes medication by mouth, where does it go? Mouth, digestive tract, bloodstream, and eventually into the brain to control seizures. Like duh. Doctor must experiment with different medication in order to find what will work to completely control, or at least control enough. Well then maybe it's time for the people and patients to experiment with adjustment in their diet. I know I will.
