This is a techie question

Ok can anyone tell me why it is when I go to download a new picture to go with my posts it blows up and takes up the whole screen. I would love to show an updated picture but I dont think anyone wants to see a page ful of me everytime I post. Could some smart person tell me what I am doing wrong.

You need to lower the resolution to make the picture smaller. Resolution = number of pixels. You can do this in a photo editing program. Try Picassa. It's free. http://picasa.google.com/
