Deep Thoughts by "Pam" Handy

Is it me? or when you were young and single, doing laundry was more of an afterthought like, "Oh Jeez, I'm running low on underwear, guess I should do laundry." Versus being a parent with one small child. Just having breakfast and lunch requires doing a load of wash afterwards to get rid of the stains of maple syrup and ketchup that little hands leave behind. If I didn't do wash ever again I'd be happy. Maybe there is a laundry fairy out there; related to the sock thief who steals one sock from every load? Wish he'd come by and get crackin' on yesterdays pile....
