For Bruce

Hi Bruce, Old message had disappeared so I am submitting a new topic. I prefered the old forum too - but I am getting to grips with this a bit better now (She says). I still haven't managed to contact Andy that I used to speak to. He sent me a message asking how I was over a month ago but as I didn't realise he had posted it I never wrote back. I think he has given up - which is a shame as I would really like to talk to him again. I would give anything for some hot weather!! Scotland aint that great temperature wise! It's not raining today, so I suppose that's a bonus! The real me? Let's see. Before I broke my ankle I enjoyed sports. I loved netball, kick box aerobics, swimming and going to the gym - that sort of stuff. I had a lot of problems with my ankle and knee ligaments that I haven't really been able to do much of that until now. Once I am over this chest infection I will get back into the swing of things again. I am a DVD addict. I love watching movies and slouching around on the sofa. I love Music - all kinds except heavy metal. Just a noise to me. I also love spending time with my family and friends. I have one brother and he is married with two kids. My Mum and Dad and Brother and family all live about 5 minutes away in the car. Most of my Aunts and Uncles live close by but I have one uncle in England, One Aunt in Canada and another uncle in Miami. My Mum is one of eight children and I am one of 16 Grandchildren. One of my loves in life is travelling. We try and get away every year for two weeks vacation and I try to go to exotic destinations. Let's see....I have been to Dominican Republic 6 times, Cuba, Mexico, Bali, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, America. This year we didn't have "sunshine two week holiday" but we went to the Lake District in England, Amsterdam, London and Paris. Paris was a surprise from my husband for my 30th Birthday in July. It was absolutely amazing. We had a great time. ....and just lately talking to you lovely people on this Forum. So, that's about it. Jenny

Wow, you have been traveling a good distance. You would have a savings account filled with 'frequent flyer miles' in it. In the US, whenever people travel by plane a lot they can earn extra bonus miles for future free traveling. Due to being in the Navy back in 1986 until 1994, I traveled 3 round trips to the Mediterranean, two by sea and one by air; round trip through the Suez Canal and floating around in a Red Sea; Did some touring had several ports along the Mediterranean Sea, one of which happened to be walking along the ground of Hafia, Israel. I forgot to mention also that I have an only sister who just turned 31 this past April, and she has been living with a guy for over six years. I have no idea as to what old message you are referring to that disappeared, but I am pleased to see that you cared enough to post a new one. I thank you greatly, Bruce (link guy) Disabled American Veteran
