Welcome to November -- National Epilepsy Awareness Month! This month we are celebrating the stories of people who have been able to defy their seizures and focus on reaching their full life potential.
Today, November 1st, is Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) Awareness Day. LGS is a rare form of epilepsy that causes multiple types of seizures resulting in developmental delays and cognitive impairments.
We are proud to be associated with the Todd family. Dale and Sara Todd have been great supporters and volunteer leaders at the Epilepsy Foundation. Their son, Adam, lives with LGS… and is defying seizures and making a name for himself in the world of running. Today, in celebration of Adam and in recognition of LGS Awareness Day, we share this inspiring story from homegrowniowan.com
