Join us for an educational webinar, “Epilepsy and College: Strategies for Success.” The transition to college is a major milestone for teens and families. The college journey allows a teen to gain new personal and social independence and experience new learning opportunities. College is often the time that teens also take on the responsibility of their physical and emotional health. For some parents, adjusting to this time of separation and transition can be difficult.
Epilepsy affects each person differently. As you plan for college, develop a personalized plan for managing your seizures and your learning needs. Planning ahead can help to lessen your risks, improve safety, and increase the chance of a successful college experience both in and out of the classroom.
