Can they help a person during and after a seizure? Can dogs tell when a person is going to have a seizure? While research on a dog's ability to predict seizures is limited, some dogs can respond after a seizure has started, stay with the person, or get help. Dogs are also great companions and provide unconditional love and support. As a type of service dog, seizure dogs should have specialized training.
