The Epilepsy Foundation held its first Netathon this weekend, reaching more than 800,000 people!
Sponsored by Sunovion and co-hosted by Foundation spokesmen Greg Grunberg and Rick Harrison, people from many walks of life came together to talk about seizures and to raise funds for the Epilepsy Foundation.
Streamed live from Hollywood over the Internet on Saturday, June 27, the event featured great music, personal stories, and epilepsy information over a 12-hour period. Check out photos and short videos from the event on the Foundation’s Instagram. Longer segments of the event will be available for viewing on epilepsy.com in July!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to …
- Greg Grunberg and Rick Harrison for their time, talent, and passion to help people with epilepsy.
- Sunovion for helping bring this first Netathon forth!
- The many celebrities and artists who donated their time and talent to make the event fun and to come talk about epilepsy!
- The medical professionals who shared information to help viewers learn about epilepsy and seizures.
- Most importantly, to our viewers – those new to epilepsy and those who have lived with its challenges for many years. Your support, questions, and comments sent in by social media and through epilepsy.com showed how important these efforts are!
Thank you again for your support!
Best wishes,
The Epilepsy.com Team
