The Epilepsy Foundation is searching for a vocalist to sing the National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner,” during the festivities for the 10th Annual National Walk for Epilepsy in Washington, D.C., on April 16, 2016. Our search is open to all ages!

I can sing. How do I submit an audition video?

  • Upload your audition video to a website, such as YouTube, Vimeo, or a social media site. Then email the link of your audition video to [email protected].  
  • Include your name (or names of the individuals performing if a group), mailing address, phone number, and email address along with your submission. Groups limited to no more than 5 people.
  • Submissions from individuals under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Your rendition submission MUST be in the following format: a cappella (without musical accompaniment), traditional, or in a style of your choice that DOES NOT exceed 2 minutes. Submissions outside these guidelines will not be considered.
  • Include a brief statement of what performing our National Anthem at the National Walk for Epilepsy means to you.

You will be contacted by February 24, 2016, regarding the status of your video submission. The National Anthem performance will take place center stage on April 16, 2016, at the 10th Annual National Walk for Epilepsy on the grounds of the Washington National Monument in Washington, D.C.

This is a volunteer opportunity; the Epilepsy Foundation of America will not be responsible for any expenses incurred to participate.
