The Epilepsy Foundation is proud to join the epilepsy community in recognizing the second Monday in February as International Epilepsy Day.

Celebrating International Epilepsy Day: February 13, 2017

The International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) and International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) are holding an art competition for all ages with the theme "Putting Epilepsy in the Picture." The competition is open to everyone!

Prizes

Under 12-years

• 1st Prize of $500 (US)
• 2 runners up prizes of $250 (US) each

Over 12 years

• 1st Prize of $500 (US)
• 2 runners up prizes of $250 (US) each

Some things to remember:

• You may submit up to 3 pieces of art to the competition.
• Artwork can be a painting or drawing, photo montage, multimedia artwork, pottery, sculpture, beadwork, embroidery or needlework, video or music.
• Don't send your original artwork! Submission should be submitted through a scan, photo, or video of the artwork.
• For entrants in the over 12 years’ category, the artwork should reflect the theme "Epilepsy in the Picture" in some way.
