I understand where you're are coming from. I've only started with my seizures in Oct. 2006 and I suffer from seizures on an average of 12-15 monthly and sometimes it has reached as high as 34 in a month. I can't plan on anything. When I get strong seizure, I'm usually off my feet and in bed for as little as 3 days to as many as 5 days. Hang in there and try to have a positive attitude.

Hi Kathryn, I to have what I refer to as "EPISODES". My first "EPISODE" occurred in October, 2006. The "EPISODE was so bad that I was rushed to our local hospital and put into ICU, because the doctors thought I suffered a stroke. I was un-responsive and they kept me heavily medicated (2mg. Morphine every 2 hours). To this day, after many EEG's both 24 hours and 3-4 days, nothing showed up on my tests also. I've been told to see a Psychiatrist. It seems like if the doctor can't find anything wrong they pass you on to a shrink. To this day I still suffer these "EPISODES". I try not to drive because I have these "EPISODES" when I drive. I'm so afraid of hurting someone or hurting myself. Keep in touch. Henry Latch
