memory loss...
Sun, 04/22/2007 - 02:18so i know that everyone knows what im talking about if they can remember reading this :P
i have a great memory unfortunately it is VERY SHORT!!! i can't remember anything. i forget a conversation while i am still having it. when im at work (and my job is to deal with the public) and i am giving directions to destinations or trying to make reservations i forget where they are wanting to go or the proper protocol for making the reservations. i also forget the simplest of words which then make me look like a fool because it looks like i don't know my job which i do.
what on earth can i do to help this situation? its really quite frustrating.
this is my rant... thank you for listening... or reading... or whatever.... :P

I wish I knew if the TL are getting damaged. My "brain farts" make my memory leave faster and faster. I was seeing a chiropractor and he would pop my neck and it would sometime make me have a sz. but only if I was really out. He popped what he called the "axis". I started doing alot better sz. and memory wise. But he moved away and (other chiro. didn't understand or they use this little popper on me and made things worse.) He said something about the blood flow to the brain. But I don't know if that a part of the problem or not. Just something I have heard along the way. Some dr.'s I have seen agree with him some not. I have "brain farts" a lot. My major problem is that I go to tell someone something, and I do not remember whether I have told them or not. Sometimes it is important, but I do not want to tell the person twice (you know, sometimes they get mad for hearing the same thing over and over again). When I went for my veeg, I came back to work, and could not remember where to file stuff in charts (I work at a doctor's office and we have 18 doctors here. You know there is a lot of paper work). The thing I hated was the fact that my supervisor got upset each time I had to ask her where stuff went. I would rather ask her, and she get mad, than to file the stuff in the wrong spot, and the doctor get mad. :( There is one problem, I have to go back and have another veeg with depth electrodes. I will have to go through the same thing again. UGHHHH! I will probably have the same problem if I do have surgery. There is one thing I have always wondered about. I have bad memory loss after each seizure. My seizures come from my TL. (I do not know if they are bilateral or if they come from one side. That is why I am having depth electrodes.) Anyway, my memory seems to get worse after I have each seizure, now my memory is real bad. So do you think that my TL is like getting damaged or something each time I have a seizure. Like, does it cause more damage each time I seize, causing all this memory loss now? (I have probably confused you all) But do you think this could be one reason that my memory is so bad now, with all the seizures I've had? Thanks for the comments.
