so i know that everyone knows what im talking about if they can remember reading this :P i have a great memory unfortunately it is VERY SHORT!!! i can't remember anything. i forget a conversation while i am still having it. when im at work (and my job is to deal with the public) and i am giving directions to destinations or trying to make reservations i forget where they are wanting to go or the proper protocol for making the reservations. i also forget the simplest of words which then make me look like a fool because it looks like i don't know my job which i do. what on earth can i do to help this situation? its really quite frustrating. this is my rant... thank you for listening... or reading... or whatever.... :P

peace R.C. Hi . Wished i had more time to relate to this totally ..... I have now read many, many , things relating to this . Yes I do understand most of what I read here ,except the childhood things ,but I have studied a lot on that because of child memorys and abuse, stc and ptsd and memory and drug alcohol abuse and memory. I feel that after a spell of szs ,3gmals in 8hrs and now I know stus epilepticus many times I lost it ,I mean I,m not getting it back and telling people ,docs, etc. this is now a lot of work causing huge stress, man oh man. I strain reading about stress ,szs, DEPRESSION and the links and I am reading my daily life right out of pgs. here that are the depression ,memory, links created here really amazing stuff . My BIG issue is THIS IS DISABLING for me real bad , I will never work at any job I have held in the past because of the memory probs and the triggers . Most people laugh when I tell them about memory probs. Rick

I am 39 and have been one of those shy quiet smart guys till 30 something TLE hit. Never forgot anything. Never talked much either. Mom and Dad are 77. All 3 of us have memory probs and laugh about it wile finishing each others sentences. Now on meds and seize once a month 5-8 times for 2-3 days. Now I forgot what I was writing about ... oh yea, i would explain lots of things while talking to my friends and family and they look at me like they don't understand so i go on and explain things in a different way all the while asking if they understand. They say yea while shaking their heads of course. I asked once why I feel I have to go on and on and on like they dont understand and they all say that they like to hear me talk since i never did in the past and are facinated by what all I know. Made me angry then I realized it was a complement, LOL. Wanna Laugh? I usually moan real funny soundin n start ramblin numbers when I seize, but the last time I was caught hummin the Oscar Mayer Weiner Song !
