drugs questions (mushrooms)
Thu, 05/19/2005 - 22:59Its seems as though no one has started a disscussion on th positive and negative effects of marajuana(If any). As well as the bodys reaction to other drugs(mushrooms). Not to exclude anyone but if you have teperal lobe damage your info would be much apprieciated. In my own personal expereance I can say without a shodow of doubt that marajuana kept me seizure free for 3 years, however I Did have a seizure when I abrubtly quit after 3 years of daily or near daily usage. Now analyzing this info is simple enough, If you stop taking your seizure medication you will have one. Now this is where many conclusions can be drawn, and differences in individual resonses to drugs can be seen. Please feel free to post your info. If anyone has experiance with epilepsy and mushrooms please post your info good or bad and it will be recieved with gratitude.

Let me say that I feel there are many who are here looking to be supportive, sharetheir story about Epilepsy and that is what this forum is for. No one knows others full story, or how their body does with, meds, foods, stress, or alternative treatments. People have heard my story and know I have had it sine * years old and most of the current drugs I am on have not domne much to help me without major side affects. With the kinds of stress, anxiety and lack of seizure control. I have tried Marijuana and have been amazed at the results. No I do not believe for Me it is addictive. I like others, can put it down for weeks and not crave it . I believe also that those who need it for medical use are those where their bodies need it to suppoort them. I will just ask that people remember we are all just looking to feel better, have fuller lives, with out seizures. As one of those people I simply ask that we all be aware how to be sensitive to others.
