drugs questions (mushrooms)
Thu, 05/19/2005 - 22:59Its seems as though no one has started a disscussion on th positive and negative effects of marajuana(If any). As well as the bodys reaction to other drugs(mushrooms). Not to exclude anyone but if you have teperal lobe damage your info would be much apprieciated. In my own personal expereance I can say without a shodow of doubt that marajuana kept me seizure free for 3 years, however I Did have a seizure when I abrubtly quit after 3 years of daily or near daily usage. Now analyzing this info is simple enough, If you stop taking your seizure medication you will have one. Now this is where many conclusions can be drawn, and differences in individual resonses to drugs can be seen. Please feel free to post your info. If anyone has experiance with epilepsy and mushrooms please post your info good or bad and it will be recieved with gratitude.

I've had complex partial seizures since I was 2 and simple partial seizures since 5th grade (at least that's as far back as I can remember having em). I've also used my fair share of mind altering substances, including mushrooms on probably 10 occasions. The simple partial seizures have been uncontrolled since I started having them, and I have them a handful of times a day at minimum and maybe 20 times a day on my worst days. I've never noticed an increase in the amount of seizures I have on days that I've used mushrooms, and I don't recall any time I've every had a seizure whilst tripping... I already feel like I'm going crazy, so there is the possibility that I do have them and don't recognize them. Everybody's body chemistry is different though, so take what I and everyone else has to say with a grain of salt

look, I dont know if I have epilepsy. But to address your question about mushrooms, this was my experience:
I had my first grand mal seizure on January 9th of this year. It was in my second period class right after I had sluffed my first period class to smoke a bowl. (XD). Since then, I have smoked a ridiculous amount of marijuana, and I ate mushrooms a week after the seizure, tripped hard, and experienced no bad sad effects.
However, three days ago, I popped three pills of ecstasy and had a seizure the following morning. I'm pretty damn sure it was the drugs. Of course, in this whole year I've done ecstasy around ten times. DONT DO ECSTASY. EVER.
Mushrooms & Weed, I'm pretty sure you'll be alright. I dont know about alcohol since I haven't gotten drunk since thanksgiving. But yeah. Thats my experience.
