Thursday was when I had my last seizure, and I ended up having two seizures in one day. One was in the bathroom (embarrassing), and the other was in the kitchen while eating with my mom. Not only did I get bruised up real bad, but I bit my tongue up pretty bad too. I usually bit my tongue so its nothing new, but this time my tongue has been hurt for days (still does). So I've been using warm water with a teaspoon of sea salt after I eat and after I brush my teeth I rinse my mouth with salt water. Apparently the sea salt not only drys things, but it also helps kill the bacteria. Ever since I've been doing this I've notice my scar on my tongue getting smaller, but the pain is still there. So for the pain I get a zip lock bag fill it with ice, and put it on my scar for 30-60 sec on and off it helps numb my tongue. One thing I hate about having seizures is the whole biting my tongue... For days I've been chewing my food and eating on my left side cause I always bit the right side of my tongue...WHY!!!! So weird.

I have narcolepsy and I often fall asleep and my teeth clamp down on my tongue. I fell asleep on Thursday @ 6pm and didn't wake till 6am and I must have been biting my tongue all that time because my tongue was numb when I woke up. Its now Tuesday and it is still numb anyone know how to get the feeling back?
