Deja Vu leading to sick feeling

Tue, 06/16/2015 - 22:02

Hi, I'm a 22 year old female. For the past two months I've been having bad déjà vu episodes with a nauseous feeling. I can't concentrat on anything other than snapping back to reality. They last about 30 seconds. If I'm driving, I have to pull over. At first I thought they were memories but now I know they're not. Sometimes just looking at someone's face triggers it. Does anybody know what's wrong with me?

Hi everyone, I am also a 22 year old struggling with this for 3 years. I Finally have reached my diagnosis and hopefully this information helps some of you: the episode of dejavu+nausea+confusion is called a Temporal Lobe Seizure and I was prescribed levetiracetam and a similar drug is called Keppra. Hopefully this helps some of you, and try not to over sleep or use nicotine if you have this condition.

I finally was diagnosed after years of doctors looking at me like i needed a straight jacket.  I was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Seizure and I was prescribed levetiracetam.  Iv been on it for almost a year now, and the "Deja Vu" has stopped ever since.  I have had a few times where i have forgotten to take them for 2 days, and i will get the "episode" again.  but it has been working great for me
