Deja Vu leading to sick feeling

Tue, 06/16/2015 - 22:02

Hi, I'm a 22 year old female. For the past two months I've been having bad déjà vu episodes with a nauseous feeling. I can't concentrat on anything other than snapping back to reality. They last about 30 seconds. If I'm driving, I have to pull over. At first I thought they were memories but now I know they're not. Sometimes just looking at someone's face triggers it. Does anybody know what's wrong with me?

I experienced this about seven or eight times in one day passed out the one time for about 15 seconds took about a minute to recover. My family doctor says it's likely attributed to over-hydration. too much water flushes the system of salt essential for the brain to function properly. This makes sense in my case because when I got in my car to go home I felt tired so I bought some Gatorade, afterwards I felt alert and the drive home was easy.I have only experienced deja Vu one other time in my life about 12 years ago I'm 58 now.I've always been encouraged by people when they know how much water I drink which has never felt excessive to me but over time especially in the summer when you're sweating a person can over hydrate that's why they take salt tablets when in the tropics in the army!

Gatoraide, seriously. My situation was caused by over-hydration.
