Unusual complex/simple partial seizures

So, I've been having seizures. I don't have
convulsions, but I slow down to the point where I
freeze up and can't move or speak for 2-10
minutes at a time. I've had this happen 15 times in
the last 7 weeks. I'm conscious and can stay sitting
up. My eyes can move, but I can't move a muscle in
the rest of my body. I will also often start nodding my head and biting the air. I don't try to, it just sort of happens.
I've just seen a Neurologist. First, he thought they were panic attacks, but then he said they're probably Complex Partial Seizures. From what I've read, that doesn't make sense because I don't lose consciousness and it can last a lot longer than 2 minutes.
I am hoping that someone on this forum will have some experience/insight/advice for me.

I dont have that type of seizure. But I do have a web site, for we have more than 40 different type of seizures.

When I started having my episodes (I am complex-partial), I also had some of the same symptoms, freezing up. I had one time I was sitting in a weight machine and could not get out, couldn't move, couldn't figure out how to unhook the machine. After sitting there quite a few minutes, I finally was able to just make my body fall forward to get out (must have looked like a real idiot.) Besides not being able to move, I would also have times I would not be able to speak; other times, I would not be able to understand words, I would just stand and stare and people, I would hear the words, but they didn't make I could just stand and stare. Where you bite the air, I would grab at the air. All your symptoms sound so very text book Complex Partial. I believe the lose of consciousness (which I have had on only one occasion that I know of) is rare for complex partial. I have had a lot of memory loss in the past couple years, though. And where seizures are typically 2-3 minutes, it is not unheard of for them to be longer. Mine have lasted longer, and I have had a 2 day period of on-again off-again seizures. Does this help?
