Adriane-
Send me an email. I have a VERY similar story (young kids...seizures worsened/began after childbirth at 35 years old). I had a right temporal lobectomy at Tampa General Hospital on December 4, 2008 (Dr Vale and Dr Benbadis...I was in GREAT hands..no question about that). I haven't had a seizure since and feel better than ever. It was a life-changing event, for me and my family. Robin robin_wright@hotmail.com

Hi,
My four year old just had that surgery about 1 week ago, after she spent 25 days in the hospital, having about 200 seizures a day. What a difference it has made. She has not had one seizure since her surgery, but she will be on the seizure medication for life they said. She is doing really good, and we are so thankful to her Dr. and surgeons in Sacromento Ca. She was on Life support for 3 days because of her seizures.
