Just an update Â…. I had the surgery Sept. 16th at NYUÂ… They did the cut on a Thursday I was walking around the hospital the next day.. Five days later I was back to workÂ… so Now it is 11 weeks  post op and I feel great actually I felt great the day I came home and I am back Paddling two nights a week (I am in the kayaking business) I understand that a seizure could still happen but I feel that things are going in a good direction.  Thanks to everyone for all the supportÂ… If anyone has questions you can contact me at Â…. jdurrua@jerseypaddler.com

I have read all the posts and the one thing that the doctors always reminded me was that the surgery was not a cure.  The purpose was to control the seizures using medication etc.    This is true.  I still have to take the medication and I am still glad I had the surgery.
