Diary reminders
Fri, 11/13/2009 - 08:16Hi everyone,
Anyone having trouble setting up to have reminders from your diary sent to your phone by text message? If your cell phone carrier is not there, let us know and we'll try to get it added. If it's there but not working right, let us know that too so we can fix it for you. I've found the reminder system great - every day I get text and email reminders about my medicines and then when doctor appts are coming up. Certainly helps me!
Hope rest is going ok and you've had a chance to start a diary. Let me know if you have any trouble or just have questions! When you have a doctor's appointment, don't forget to print out a report and take it to him or her. I'd love to hear if it's helpful or not!
Take care and have a great day!

Hi Royalla,
I'm the webmaster and I'd love to help you with this. The only problem is that I don't understand exactly what you are trying to do. Are you trying to install the short-cut into the Firefox browser maybe? If this is what you are trying to do, then take a look at the help for this as it has pictures that will make it easier to understand. The PDF is available at http://my.epilepsy.com/pdfs/Downloads-Extras_help.pdf Look at the bottom of page 2 where the instructions for installing on Firefox are.
If you're looking to do something else, please reply to this (or to me directly at webmaster@epilepsytherapyprojectg.org) and I'll see if I can't help you out.

Thanks for response. Just to let you know following recent significant changes to my seizure type and pattern I was asked to record the seizures. I did so using the diary. I had an hospital appointment today with an epilepsy nurse specialist and gave her a print out. She was very impressed with the format and information & kept it for others in the team of specialists who are currently reassessing my medication. Previously, the information I've given my neurologist and his colleagues is a bit vague (estimates as opposed to actuals!) I'm not sure if we have anything similar in the UK but I'll stick with your version. Well done to the design team!
