Diary reminders

Fri, 11/13/2009 - 08:16

Hi everyone,

Anyone having trouble setting up to have reminders from your diary sent to your phone by text message? If your cell phone carrier is not there, let us know and we'll try to get it added. If it's there but not working right, let us know that too so we can fix it for you. I've found the reminder system great - every day I get text and email reminders about my medicines and then when doctor appts are coming up. Certainly helps me!

Hope rest is going ok and you've had a chance to start a diary. Let me know if you have any trouble or just have questions! When you have a doctor's appointment, don't forget to print out a report and take it to him or her. I'd love to hear if it's helpful or not!

Take care and have a great day!

In the About Me section, the first tab is titled My Seizures - this is where you enter information about the type of seizures you have.

The middle tab is about My Medicines and is where you can list what medicines for seizures and other reasons that you take.

The last tab is for My Medical History. This is a more detailed sectionis a tab that is being finished up now and will allow people to enter more details of their medical history if they want. This section is typical of what your doctor would ask you at an appointment. It gives you the opportunity to enter it once, update as needed and print off to give to your doctor or whomever you want. We'll let you know as soon as it's done - it's coming soon!!!

Thanks for asking!

I'm having trouble with the reminder sending me two alerts for one time when I'm supposed to take my meds. I only have one med set to alert so it should just send me one text message but it is sending 2 What am I doing wrong? Is there a bug in the system? I don't want to delete all the alerts and meds and start over cuz it would also delete all the time on my data about what I taken when. I have one med I don't take all the time. What do I do about the system sending me 2 texts for the same med. I've checked I only have it registered once. Thanks for any help it is getting bothersom to get 2 alerts to take my meds only once. I have only one med set to send me a text when it is time to take my meds. Thanks again for your help!!! Sent from my iPhone Oh, I keep checking for updates for the iPhone app.

Thank you for the Diary!  It really helps mentally and I noted physically too!

Tbpea is right if you have statements for a period of time. It doesn't copy out.  What can a person do?

I am upgrading in the program  to windows 7 and that might remedy the problem. If it is a long time it causes  a problem.  It initally stated one page.  I changed the size of the print and that helped but if it is for a long time.  Hmmm?
