Side effects of Lamictal

I was wondering if anyone has heard of anyone on Lamictal getting Hypoglycemia or having the effects of Hypoglycemia?A couple of times since I been on this medication, I felt dizzy and was wondering if this is a side effect of the medication or if I did have low blood sugar cause of maybe too much medication. I had to start eating every two hours.I am on Lamictal, 250 mg, and Tegertol, 200 mg twice a day. I have to cut one pill in half. I been on this medication for about 3 months now, was on Dilantin with other meds. Erik

Erik ,I'm taking 600mg aday of lamictal and have no problems with the med. with this med. it's common to get lite headed or dizzy sometimes... maybe this med is not working for you , but it might work for someone else... keep checking your therapeutical level of lamictal to see if you are at a point were you need to be with lamictal.....

I have to say to everyone that I seem to have lost weight and am real hungry due to this medication. I try to eat alot but dont want to overdo it. I am afraid that I may lose too much weight and then get sick.Is this happening to anyone else?Erik
