I need help with this Epilepsy and agent orange
Mon, 03/13/2006 - 20:36I am 22 and I have Epilepsy and i was wondering if anyone one could tell me if agent orange and my seizures are any ties between the two. Can someone please help me with this

My dad was exposed to Agent Orange in the war and he had 2 grand mull siezures at 28 and 38 yrs. old. He went on medication and was suing for compensation from the military and a Dr. not related to working for them, during the investigation says now, and my dad is now 64, that he had strokes. But there is no evidence of any on MRI's or Cat scans or anything. Now, my 15 yr. old was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and ADHD, my 18 yr. old daughter is having problems with a learning disablily, my 6 yr. old had a night trauma and sometimes tunes me out when I'm talking to him and I'm wondering if he is having a type of seizure (he had a febrile on at about 2). This is so frustrating that it could be harming lives and they are not doing anything about it....

agent orange was a weedkiller used in viet-nam to strip the vegetation so it would be a little easier to spot Charlie. Epilepsy is having seizures. The two have nothing in common except being pretty nasty.

My husband was in Vietnam and both of my boys came down with epilepsy at 19 and 21 years old. No history if epilepsy on either side of the family.
