Tue, 05/12/2009 - 08:49

I am at wits end for my daughter. Diagnosed 4 years ago. Have not yet found a med that works for her. Lately she has constant seveer leg pain/tingling. She has to get up and walk around saying Ow OW OW OW  till it subsides.  Yesterday she had 7 eposides - 2 of which went into seizures.  Today looks like another day of the same.  First leg feeling at 5am and again on bus en route to school. Has anyone had similar expereices?????

We are not getting anywhere with our docs.

Thanks.

My 7 year old son had a seizure at school on Tuesday morning just before 9:00 a.m.  He was sent to the office  because his feet were tingling and stabbing (he said it felt like he was walking on sharp rocks).  The seizure lasted about two minutes with his entire body shaking.  He has never had one before that we know of.  He had the same feet issue two days prior.  Lots of wailing and crying (I thought it was a major overreaction to his feet falling asleep). He had several absence seizures while in ER.  No one has made an official diagnosis yet.  We are waiting for a referral to Children's Hospital Neurology.  I'm just wondering if the burning, tingling, wiggling feet could be a precursor to a seizure? He was tested for autism last month and the doc there through she witnessed several absence seizures while he was with her.  Obviously I'm concerned, a little scared and looking for answers.  Who know how long it will be before the Neuro can even see him.

My 7 year old daughter started having seizures sin January. We spent 2 weeks in the hospital. She had one last week, almost made it amonth seizure free. She has had 4 this week alone, Mon-Thurs. She complains of "tired legs" and her legs will get really super tight. It just looks painful. She also has back pain. I'm praying for your son.
