FCC Regulations on flashing graphics on television

I've discussed the matter with commissioner Adelstein and he thinks it would be a fine idea. Anyone have any opinions on this matter? I don't think these sorts of things only effect those of us with epilepsy. Those with Chronic Fatigue and it's variants surely are bothered by this, especially since most who have such problems usually spend hours in front of the tube or computer screen to pass time.

one thing to consider to you want vocal prayer, or silent.  if yes or no,  is it okay for a satanist to pray., aloud.  that is how i look at it when i take a minute to say thanks to God.  Mine is silent, it gives respect to my own beliefs, and dose not disrespect other people.  Something that also should be taught in school.  what do you think.  rikk

My experience w/Flashing Lights... One evening, riding in a car on the Frwy., a fire truck was passing us (on its way to an accident). The flashing lights triggered a GM Seizure. Sitting in a theatre, waiting for the movie to begin, one of the advertisements which contained flashing lights, triggered a GM seizure. There was a warning that the Manager hadn't been aware of. Afterwards, the ad was removed, and my friends were given free movie tickets. He now double-checks all that will be shown. One morning, driving past a row of trees, the sunlight caused a strobe affect which triggered another GM seizure. I don't expect emergency vehicles to stop using flashing lights, and hope that the sun doesn't stop rising each morning. I do believe it's a matter of better awareness & clear communication. Wreath
