To Drink or Not To Drink

Haha... a few days ago I went drinking. It's like so bad for my epilepsy thing. I give up. I don't care to take care of this seizure thing when I'm having a fun time. Ya, it's dangerous for me, but I don't care! Epilepsy can't stop my fun. Everyone likes having fun right? This epilepsy thing, it's not in control of my life cuz I choose things in my life for myself. I'm with friends so they'll know what to do when I have a seizure. It's not like I went drinking by myself.Anyone here objects this drinking thing? Because you can try going drinking and pretend that nothing would happen and that you don't have seizures just like me. ~Sophs

i already replied to this once but i just thought of one more thing. you said that if you have a seizure your friends will know what to do. will they? do they know how to handle it responsibly sober? can you actually put your life in their hands. because thats what you will be doing. just remember that they will be just as drunk if not more than you. can you trust them to do the right thing? like i said before it is your decision. just know what you are getting into. yes i had fun when i was younger and drank most of my friends under the table and ignored my epilepsy. but if i knew then what i know now i bloody well would have been way more careful. i couldn't even trust my friends when i smoked pot. they laughed at me when i had my partial seizures cuz i looked funny. just think about it.

If you will check the medicine your on, you may find out that drinking while taking your medicine can cause a poisonous outcome. Mine did, in turn my liver started messing up, and I had to stop it. Now my liver functions are ok, but check it out because it can be very dangerous.
