Why is my daugther so tired?

I am wondering if anyone else's child with epilepsy seems tired a lot. My 5 year old (soon to be six in November) takes 15 mg of Topomax at night. She seems tired so often. The minute she gets off the kingergarten bus the thumb goes in the mouth. I am not sure if it is from E, her meds or totally unrelated. Any thoughts?

My daughter has PS and does the same thing. My mother gets her in the afternoon and some days she is just wiped out. She had a seizure while she was waiting in the gym for mom to pick her up. She got in the car confused and bewildered. Apparently today was a really hard reading day. It just wore her out.
Does your daughter complain with leg pain? Mine has been really sore this weekend. She seized Saturday and then again today. With her 5 days into Tegretol I don't know if she is worse or better. The leg pain on top of the seizures is really rough.

When my daughter was on Topamax (very briefly) she was tired all the time she could barely function. She also suffered through massive memory loss, a lack of coordination and behavior/aggressiveness.
We very quickly changed her medication.
If you feel hr meds are making her tired maybe try changing the time of day she is taking the medication.
