Normal blood tests, now what?

Sat, 04/07/2007 - 01:16
So Kaitlyn (who will be two in May) had a bunch of blood work done (I'm not sure what they were all testing for, but I'm sure most of you have had your little ones have the same blood tests) all came back normal. But I am now having my mind running with a million other what ifs. I just want a diagnosis so I know what this is that is causing her to have seizures. She gets her MRI next week... and her EEG was last week and that came back normal. How many of you guys have had your kids have normal blood work but then when they do the MRI have it come back with something? How many have still to find out what is causing them?

Hi Emily, how did kaitlyns MRI go yesterday? I know sometimes it can take a couple of days to get the results. you and she have been in my thoughts. I will be taking Rose in a couple hours to have her MRI done I am anxious to have it done but I hate putting her through it especially the day before her first birthday. Well I hope everything went ok for Kaitlyn. thinking of you krissy

Krissy, The whole procedure was a little rough for her, she was exhausted all day and not herself. But it was ok, the hospital we went to was great with her. It made it much easier. We should find out the results from it today (I hope, keeping my fingers crossed). Well I hope Rose's MRI comes back good. You will have to let me know how it goes. Thanks for thinking of us, I will be thinking of you all today. Good luck! Emily
