Solis, you are reading me wrong if you believe I am implying the generalizations I wrote about deja/jamais vu and childhood or artists is anything more than a generalization. And every generalization inevitably has individuals who act as counterproof to its absolutism. Unfortunately as it stands, I cannot spout back the references from which I had gleaned the above information (this was not from my own observation let me assure you) but iirc they were respectable sources. If I remember at some point, I will be sure to tell you. Perhaps I have come on a bit strong here. I am sorry. "Pedantry" is one of my strongest Asperger's symptoms (not to use this as an excuse but at times I do not realize I'm "lecturing" until it's too late and people have either gotten bored or defensive). And as far as this thread goes, I am only trying to give some information which I had been informed upon from sources. As for the other matter of diagnosing myself and not seeking an official diagnosis and medication, that is my decision. I feel I have myself well in hand. And once again, I do appreciate the concern. But it is my decision and if I am digging my own pit, then eventually I will reap the consequences of it. What more can be asked of anyone with free will? Please don't let my life-decision make you, or anyone on here, defensive. It's not my intention I promise you.

Thank you for your reply Sophist. Given your explanation I understand the attitude. Thank you...I promise I'll not take offence. I'd be very interested on reading where you got your statistics. Should you remember, please e-mail the source to me. Again, thanks.. ~sol
