Lamictal, memory loss and getting memory back
Sun, 12/14/2014 - 23:42Hi,
I have been on Lamictal 300mg for about 4 years. My loss of memory and inability to pull out words has gotten to the point where I'm not enjoying life. Holding a conversation that lasts a few sentences has become embarassing. I was wondering if anyone who has been on lamictal and taken off has had their memory return. I will talk to my doctor but the last time I went in they tried to convince me that the meds had nothing to do with memory loss.
Thanks,
Donna
I am so happy but also sorry

I am so happy but also sorry to see that there are others out there having the same issues that my son and I have had on Lamictal. I told my dr that I thought I was losing my mind and I just don't feel like they take this seriously. I have been off of the medication for almost 2 years I think and I do feel better but definitely not back to how I used to be. I struggle at work and just feel so frustrated at the function that I feel like I have lost. Something that did help me with the brain fog and some brain function is a natural supplement called Choline Inositol. I hope that it can help someone else on here too.
